Children in action for the environment
Bisonte hosted twenty pupils from the local primary school at Parco Luzzara on June 4, 2014. On the initiative of the Society teacher Paola and with the help of Nicoletta of the FAI (Italian Natural Monuments), we organized a special day to make the children more aware of the environmental issues in and around the lake. The highlight of the expedition was cleaning the area from all the garbage and litter and dispose it (18 garbage bags full!), using our unsurpassed “moto-agricola” (tractor). Needless to say that we did not miss the traditional Italian lunch. Of course on the shores of the lake with delicious elderflower lemonade “fatto a casa Bisonte”.
