La Vita Pura and Otro Elements
In 2014 Bisonte has started a cooperation with La Vita Pura (www.lavitapura.org). Literally translated La Vita Pura means “Pure Life,” and is a courageous initiative of our friend Raymond Landgraaf, pictured right, to revive an unspoilt Walser settlement on Alpe d’Otro through an ecological cooperative with the help of “locals”. With the ambition to develop it into an international non-profit network of similar initiatives based on sustainability, mutuality, solidarity and circular economy.
Bisonte has purchased two original teepees (Indian tents) to be used by La Vita Pura and its affiliate Otro Elements Otro Elements (www.otro-elements.it) As you can see in the pictures cutting all poles, and setting up the first tepee was already an unforgettable adventure. Fortunately everything was ready in time for the men’s expeditions at which also Sjef participated with great pleasure in the summer of 2014.
