Blanca & RaymondWe feel deeply honored to now be officially called “Bisonteurs”. With all our heart we support the “bisondere” activities of the Bisonte Foundation, especially since we could count on their loving assistance already several times.
Together with our three small children we decided to exchange the hectic Dutch life for the quiet village life in the Italian Alps a few years ago. Alagna Valsesia is a lovely mountain village at the foot of the Monte Rosa, where time has really stood still . Completely enthused by our new lifestyle we founded the cooperative ” Vita Pura” ( the pure life) in 2013. This is a collaboration between artisans, farmers and other passionate locals. The cooperative’s goal is to build a self-sufficient eco-village in the magical valley of Otro where everyone is welcome to help in the fields, milking the goats and even bake bread. “Otro Elements” are the expeditions that Raymond now organizes. 5 days back to basics to get back in touch with yourself, each other and nature. A true “digital detox’.
We are very grateful to Bisonte for the donated tepees, the outdoor material, the workshop “The Zen of Seeing,” and the support during the “love-retreats” organised by Blanca and the great inspiring conversations. Thanks for everything forever.
Raymond works as a doctor and acupuncturist and is the founder of Vita Pura (www.lavitapura.org) and Otro Elements (www.otro-elements.it). Blanca works as a relationship therapist and guides -on her own typical way- individuals and couples with relational and sexual problems. She is also organizing ‘love retreats’ and ‘cheat retreats’ in Alagna, near Lago di Como (www.insightorout.nl).
